VT Community Giving Back

Community Matters

With 10 walk-in locations throughout Vermont, we live work and play in our communities so we truly know the communities we serve.  A key to our success is giving back.  It is not uncommon to see our agents and staff at fund raising events, on community committees and sitting on boards of local charities.  Our team contributes to local food banks, works on volunteer fire and rescue teams, and supports many children’s programs.  We are a major contributor to the local Easter Seals chapter and the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation.  At Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Vermont Realty Group we are forever giving.

Houses That Help

As owners of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Vermont Realty Group, we are thankful for all that we have and we are committed to giving back to our communities. We are excited to share our new program that integrates caring for our communities with our business model of being community brokers. Through our “Houses That Help” program we will be donating part of every commission to charities that help Vermonters by feeding the hungry, housing the homeless or supporting our Vermont National Guard or other first responders.

We will personally donate 1% of the company dollar received on every Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Vermont Realty Group closing to local charities chosen by our agents. In addition, we will match any qualified agent donations.

Each of our branch offices will choose which charity will receive contributions from their earned commissions. Charities will be local to the counties or communities we serve and may include charities that serve people in need throughout the state of Vermont. Charities must meet the criteria of feeding the hungry, housing the homeless or supporting our Vermont National Guard or first responders.

Our Houses That Help initiative ties with our mission of helping people achieve their goals faster than they would in our absence.

If you sell or purchase real estate through us, you will know that your transaction is helping Vermonters in need.
